Rob ThorneDecember 3, 2024We had a fantastic 3 days spent with Cheryl and Graham in their beautiful home. The cooking course was great fun and very informative with hands on cooking at all times. We learnt loads and the food that we all created was truly delicious. Cannot recommend this course enough, if you get a chance go.Posted on Google

Julie FoxNovember 21, 2024I spent a wonderful few days with Cheryl and Graham on a festive vegetarian cooking holiday. Each of the day's menus and recipes had been carefully planned out and tested in advance and, as a group, we prepared the dishes for multiple celebratory brunches and dinners in honour of Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, with gentle guidance from our hosts. Sooo much yummy food! The accommodation was stylish and comfortable, with everything I needed and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.Posted on Google

I have attended several courses at this very special venue and each time it’s simply perfect; the owners are very warm & cook the most delicious food, they welcome you in & warm your heart with kindness & care. The venue is very beautiful & whilst I attend on a day basis the rooms are all lovely especially the new Safari Tents. Bryanna GuySeptember 27, 2024I attended a 5 day art workshop here with my mom (we did not sleep on property). It was amazing! The hosts, Cheryl and Graham, were so generous and kind. The lunches they prepared were delicious and of great value. The art teacher, Tracey, made us feel like any skill level was welcome, and encouraged us to play with the art materials. We got to try many different mediums and techniques. Our group was fun and the size was nice and intimate. Was a great experience all around.Posted on Google
Ann PeakeJune 26, 2024Just spent another fabulous week at Figs with the lovely hosts Cheryl and Graham. A week of art with delightful teacher Ali Hargreaves who was so thorough, helpful and an absolute joy. Learnt lots of techniques and enjoyed a great day out at the beach with super meal in beach cafe/restaurant. Super location, wonderful meals and presentation to die for, every dish a work of art. Thoroughly recommend and so lucky to have great company too in the accompanying guests. Third visit and hopefully more to come!Posted on Google
Heather GrangeJune 26, 2024I had an amazing painting holiday with great hosts. Graham and Cheryl were welcoming and provided a perfect environment in which to nurture the soul. It is a beautiful location, the rooms were spotless and the whole vibe was so relaxing. Graham worked so hard providing a wide range of delicious dishes; we were chilled out eating wonderful vegetarian food outside but he never got to sit still for long! Cheryl provided refreshment throughout the day whilst I learned new painting skills and produced work I am proud to show-off courtesy of the amazing and talented teacher and artist, Ali. I would definitely recommend Figs on the Funcho in combination with AlisArt Painting for a holiday you won't forget and will want to return to again and again.Posted on Google
Stephanie EaglesonJune 12, 2024Absolutely beautiful place. The hosts were so lovely, really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The scenery is stunning, very quiet and peaceful. The food was out of this world, so tasty and imaginative. There was also plenty of choice and I loved that we had little treats like Cheryl's cakes and cheese boards. Our rooms were beautiful, everything we needed and very clean. I would love to stay here again and would really recommend it.Posted on Google

Surrounded by nature and able to meet with like minded people was truly a wonderful experience. Cheryl and Graham are wonderful hosts and ensured we were all looked after from start to finish.
