A spacious room with folding doors that separate the bedroom from the lounge area. Named after Monchique, a traditional market town up in the Serra de Monchique, which is a thickly wooded mountain range separating the Algarve from Alentejo.

The contemporary interiors combine a light colour scheme with vibrant soft furnishings from Portugal and northern Africa, giving each room a unique style and welcoming feel. Situated on the first floor, Monchique has double doors that open out onto a private balcony, equipped with a small table, chairs and a parasol. Views are of the gardens and rural countryside surrounding the lodge. An en-suite bathroom has a walk-in power shower, basin, heated towel rail, complimentary toiletries and dressing gowns.

Weekly linen and towel change, or mid-weekly on request.
