But for those wanting to be more active, try early morning stand-up paddle boarding or explore the Funcho river in a kayak. The River House is surrounded by many historic towns in the area, natural waterfalls and pools. There are many self-guided nature walks too – keep a look out for the Bonelli Eagle sometimes spotted in the area.
